BTW i got my SU8 plugged into my RNHP through balanced and my liquid spark through the RCA’s is it ok to do this at the same time? will sound quality suffer?

You should be fine, I don’t see any issue

It’s probably fine, splitting a line output, really doesn’t have a big impact. I run 3 amps off my Gungnir and the documentation states that’s fine.

I’ve been using my SU-8’s balanced and unbalanced outs simultaneously for months with no issue.

Yep, mine goes unbalanced to tube and balanced to ss.

I’m assuming you live in Beverly Hills (90210). You can use the Focal Dealer locator.

Yeah i live right next to Morrissey

I heard that the more you ignore him the closer he gets, and he doesn’t like DJ’s (because the music they constantly play). Just sayin.

He keeps talking about johnny marr and if he called he’d be on the first bus over. i tell him “morrissey, hes in england”

I’m always creeping this amp lol a part of me wants to buy it and store it away for the future… they’re not making it anymore correct?

What are they not making?

its still featured on his website. i think they still do

Pretty sure they will continue to make the RNHP from what I recall them saying

Yeah, pretty certain they’re still in production.

When I listen at what I’m guessing is around 80 dB the sound seems bigger — more spacious — and has a touch of live-ness that is lacking at my more usual 70ish dB. (By live-ness I mean the hint of reverb from a hand clap in an acoustically good room.) I know about equal-loudness contours, but this doesn’t seem to be an FR thing.

Is this something that the RNHP or any other amp and/or dac can provide at the lower loudness level?

Yes, the rnhp maintains detail at lower levels. I’m just going to say that getting a rnhp for your 1990 might be very beneficial for you, do consider it. You might find that you don’t want to eq anymore either (but I can’t guarantee that one lol if you are a eq nut)

probably not, it’s a function of the drivers, they need to move a certain amount to work at their best, that means a certain base volume.
This is very clear on some speakers, and one of the reasons why you don’t put huge speakers in a small space.

Seems I’m misinformed… good news

Did the form factor change or something?

Huh, Darko said he had a demo. As far as I know, it’s not that it’s not made anymore, it’s just not available (everywhere?) yet.

Edit: If you’re talking about that Fidelice monster.
