I’m one of those fortunate stiffs that works from home. Haven’t commuted into an office since 2001. It’s still work though. LOL

As I wrote office I tought the sign on the right door above the right monitor is for a toilet in a office building

Good for you! It’s maybe even harder sometimes.
Some people lack motivation, organisation and won’t manage to not mix job with private stuff.
My wife is also in the position to work from home since 2008.
Otherwise, we could not manage our dogs.
The years before we took them with us, what I am still able from time to time.
I won’t ever let a dog at home alone for more than 3-4 hours. Even if they are two and can play with each other or cuddle - they miss us. It is deeply against a dogs nature.

Funny you spotted that. This was my son’s room before he left and my daughter’s room has the other sign on the door. What better way to designate a boy’s and girl’s bedroom right? After they both left my wife’s office is her room, I got this one… I mean I wasn’t about to change the signs right?
I’m the same way with the dogs, it’s nice that we’re all home all the time and I’m a big believer that dogs should not be left at home all day but a lot of people don’t have the option. Whenever I leave the house one of my babies sits at the corner of the bedroom and will wait for me to come back home, as long as it takes.

dang… think this unit is defective actually. It has a motor wobble noise, I just noticed. I thought it was odd the box seal was broken… as if it was opened before. Seem they tried to resell a bad unit. sigh…

no, it makes a wobble noise even with the platter off and pulley disconnected. It’s coming directly from the motor. Been triyng different things. It seems defective. Going to return it. Planning on having this thing for years… can’t have an issue like this day 1.

when i opened up the larger amazon box, it was shipped upside down too, not sure if that could have caused damage either. One box on the Rega box clearly says “THIS SIDE UP”… and it was not up…
I feel your pain … that’s really sloppy… turntables are a pain to package too

Very difficult to ship, buying a used turntable can be a big deal depending on how experienced the seller is when shipping turntables
Cassete decks too apparently … 3rd one I bought was great … dude got a rave review on Ebay lol
wasnt supposed to be used in this case. Bought as brand new… precisely because like you said buying used can be ‘iffy’ depending on the seller. The packaging inside seemed “newish”… but the turntable itself had like “soap stains” on it of some sort… along with the pre-broken seal… so definitely did not seem brand new.
I’d consider contacting rega about your experience… total bs
