hmm, good point. I have an hd800s, but it is not with me at the moment. It does seem that there arenât as many dynamic driver headphones as there are planar headphones in the really high end. I had a utopia but at least for me on my source gear, it doesnât hold up against d8000 pro or 1266tc. I did like the Utopia over the Verite though.

Last column - Cayin HA-1A MK2. Bottom of the pile - NAD CD player. The Nighthawk case at the far left is holding headphone cables. The âinternational gangâ of headphones from left to right - Beyerdynamic DT-880 600Ω, Focal Elegia, ZMF LTD desert ironwood.
