šŸ”¶ Sivga Phoenix

Itā€™s really good. I have a lot of headphones to compare and I would send it back to Amazon in a heartbeat, but this is a keeper. Iā€™ll work on comfort.

They are nice, Iā€™m listening to them right now. Fit was just perfect for me.

This headphone is a steal. Just wow! The soundstage, itā€™s all there in the frequency. Maybe I got lucky, but Iā€™m telling ya, this is soooo good. Get it, is my rec.

This headphone sounds phenomenal!

Umm, kinda spamming. What other headphones do you own?

The soundstage (imo) is narrower and the sound is fuller - sacrificing on the resolution, separation and definition. But I am enjoying it a lot!

I donā€™t think I posted here - but I got an official statement from Sivga that the new pads are currently being tested and they are trying to make them. Just letting everybody know

Akg 712, M1060c with open mod, Akg 371, Fostex Ebony, Senh mix6, Cal, Fostex r70? Signed by Z, lol!, hd650, Koss 30i, Fidelio hr2, Many more. Tired of trying to remember. Amps too. Anyways, Iā€™ve only listened to it on my Lg v20, and itā€™s great. Maybe itā€™s a good match for my pinna. Haha! You donā€™t have my pinna.

Finally wrote my in-depth review of the Phoenix.

These are serious cans, like fr.
Closed-back-like bass response, tight punch, good weight & body, no sacrifice in mids and highs. Crisp and clear highs with sparkle. I donā€™t know, the only thing I donā€™t like about these cans are the earpadsā€¦ so Iā€™m waiting for Sivga to release the new pads ASAP, because these are worth the OG $299 asking price (they can already be found for 250).

If anybody wants to know my in-depth impressions, have a read: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/sivga-phoenix-wooden-flagship-dynamic-driver-headphone.24548/reviews#item-review-24110

Iā€™m pretty sure I already said it. Take a credit card, find the 4 tabs, and jut push in the direction that unlocks them. Do the same when putting them back on.

Itā€™s impossible to untwist them, so far nobody besides Zeos and JJPablo were able to untwist them with their hands. The credit card way is safe and wonā€™t break them

Thanks, this worked

I was able also, but I think we should follow the credit card way in the future.

I remove them yesterday by hand too. Didnā€™t find so difficult (but I was not afraid of breaking them heh). Then I disassembled to make easier to bend them inwards. Construction is very frugal - remove 8 screws per side and theyā€™re completly dismantled.

hi, i need some help here, i currently have a hifiman he4xx and want a change, i really love the sound stage of the 4xx but i donĀ“t like them for gaming because i feel like the ambient sounds in fps games are a mess. looking for a new headphones i found these but in the small amounts off reviews nobody talks about accurate imaging especially for games. have anybody tries this one on fps games? my other option for purchase are the 6xx but im afraid off loosing the sound stage :,c
Thanks in advance!

I use the Sennheiser HD 598 for gaming due to their lightweight nature. Accurate imaging falls under the soundstage, and I have stated in my review that it is narrower (not narrow!), so I donā€™t know of how much help that would be with FPS games. I havenā€™t given the 6xx much listening time, but I prefer my HD 598ā€™s over them. You can find them for cheap, so they are an easy recommendation

ty for your answer, but im looking for an ā€œall roundā€ headphone ( i know its impossible to find xD but i have hope to find something that can be like great or good to all the things) with the 4xx i discovered that i really like warm and ā€œfunā€ headphones for music so i find these sivga really appealing. And im not form USA so its pretty difficult find cheap HD 598ā€™s or anything else.

I would suggest you wait. I am waiting for Sivga to release new ear-pads, if the new ones are good, I could recommend them.

Whatā€™s your budget?

$250, maybe $300 if it really worth the price. So your only problem with the sivga are the stock pads? Even with the zeos ā€œmodā€ suggestion?

Yes, the driver touches my ear (Zeos only gets his ears clamped, which is worse).
Sivga said they are working on new model.

You have the Dekoni Blue, which is a Fostex T50RP based, then you have Phonon headphonesā€¦ which seem to be some next level sh*t.
Here is a thread you should read ab Phonon - https://www.head-fi.org/threads/phonon-smb-02-holy-grail.627930/

Maybe ESS headphones?

Idk, havenā€™t heard any of those, but just letting you know they exist
