This is a great deal. I’ve got a THX 789 and was thinking of picking up another one for the office. The only thing I don’t like about the SMSL is the aesthetics. I wish they went with a more refined look (like that of the SU-8) instead of mimicking the cheaper SMSL offerings.
They are still showing full price right now, which is weird, since it is 10:00AM on 11.11 in China right now.

the 789 looks great with the r2r dac drop sells, they stack perfectly. Now what do i buy to stack with the 888? In Zeos video the EL DAC stacked pretty good with it but not perfect. I hope SMSL comes out with a killer DAC that stacks with it. or is there already one?
I just spoke with Shenzhen Audio. They said their sale starts in 6 hours.

Apos says they will price match the sale price of 252.99. They emailed me because I had the sp200 in my cart and offered it at that price. They also say free express shipping and 30-day return policy, along with an extra year of warranty on top of the 1 year standard from smsl for free to make it 2 years.
I cancelled my 789 a few months ago. Got payment the following week.
Goddamn it Zeos. I’ve been building up gear to eventually buy the Argons, which he says are only ever properly powered by the Emotiva BasX because of the huge wattage, and now he says he never goes to high gain because none of those headphones need it (including the Argons).
But at least now that I’ve ordered the SU-8 + SP200 stack, the Argons are finally the next stop.

Someone linked to a page that apparently said they are US based subsidiary for Shenzhen audio, but that page is gone now. Either way, seems like they are offering arguably one of the best deals. Had I not already made my order on Amazon, I probably would have taken it.
