Yeah I want to build one for the Hybrid Amp Feel since itā€™s a DIY Amp, but I canā€™t find a seller that still sells the Torpedo III Board. Thereā€™s an official site that sells the Torpedo I Board but idk how similar they are in layout and I have no idea how much of a difference there is I vs III, since I never saw the internals of the Torpedo I, I canā€™t make inferences on how much more a III is quality wise.

I might call the company directly once Iā€™m done with my amp and see if they can sell me the III board + components or if the I and III board are identical/very similar so I can buy the I board instead on their official site and buy the parts myself later.

Huh, just a quick realization from the Phonitor 2, while the main front output is Unbalanced 6.35mm, the back outputs can support a balanced headphone (Says it on the Back itself), so with a 4-Pin to Dual 3-Pin adapter, the amp can be run balanced. Awkwardly, yes, but balanced nevertheless.

I donā€™t mind however and I could probably make a Dual 3-Pin to 4-Pin adapter, make it long enough to be lead to the front, then (Using Audiophile Grade Silver Laced Non-Inductive Inductive Gold Colored Vibration Isolating Waterproof See-Through) duct-tape the 4-Pin Output to the side of the chassis, and Voila, Balanced Phonitor 2.

You can do that, but it can be pretty sketch lol. I would just stick to the unbalanced

Well yes, it WOULD be, but I am utilizing Audiophile Grade Silver Laced Non-Inductive Inductive Gold Colored Vibration Isolating Waterproof See-Through Duct Tape for this application, and I thank you for considering the possibility of Sketchyness, however it is under control due to aforementioned method of application.

The unbalanced out has a lower output impedance than if you used the balanced output on the back for headphones, just something to note

Oh, huh, well I do have IEMs, so the low impedance would be nice, besides I prefer the 6.35mm Jack anyways, just the feel of it honestly, well that and the practicality that all my other amps use 6.35mm, so itā€™ll be WAY easier to go from one amp to another, less hassle in needing to change wires/use adapters.

Welp, I finally bought the Phonitor 2. Itā€™s B-Stock but seems to be in working condition. Hope it turns out well.

Edit: Super Excited for the VUs, they come with a complementary amp which is nice I guess.
