what improvements did you notice over the stock cups? I just got into the world of Fostex and was curious about the Lawton’s.

I couldn’t tell you, as I just received the cups today and don’t have the headphones yet!
I’ll be ordering the TH610’s next month, pending Coronavirus shutdown.
I’ll be sure to post my thoughts/impressions of both the stock 610’s and the fully modded Lawton’s (I will try and keep the 610’s stock for at least a week and give them some solid listening time after a few overnight burn-ins).

This Accessory house arrived for my TH-X00. Terrible, destroy completely the sound. Half the bass gone and treble way up ( even with the dekoni rings).

That sucks. But now we know. 
Maybe try making your own rings out of a thicker plastic like the lids from tins if Ovaltine. I’ve heard that thicker materials bring the bass up more.

Oh, nevermind. I just noticed those are perforated pads. I have not ever heard of anyone liking those for X00s.

Maybe the Suede ZMF would be more in line with the sound you’re looking for.

I doubt it. I tried a pair of dekoni suede beyer pads and it was too sharp. Lambskin pads are the best choice for X00s.

When you talk of the Ori pads you’re referring to ZMF right?

Yes. As far as I can tell without owning the accessory house pads, the only difference is that the ZMF Ori pads are a bit thicker. And like I said before, perforated does not work well from what I’ve heard and tried.

I mean when you find not good the vendor return the Money back.
Try the other pads from Accessory house is so much better,i am really satisfait with them,and with the Attunion rings from Demoni a really nice sounding who is not to sharp.

Pad drop for these now on Drop, what would be a good choice for the Emu Teaks?
Personally i am not a fan from Dekoni.
The Link who Coconut have try same Pads for example are really good and for smaller price to have when you read his Setup.
I have try a pair from Dekoni in the past and have disapoint me.
The Guy from Dekoni say they are the best and was bullshit for 80$.
I have buy and try this from accesory house and are really really good with the attunion Rings.
So i can confirmed what Coconut have try with his experience on the Fostex Pad.
The Fostex works great with the Pads from AcceroryHouse and the Lawton mod stage 1.
