I hear what you are saying. Seems like it is across the board, too. Everything audio is going up. I have been trying to save for a particular piece, and every time I think I have enough, the “new” price comes out and takes the wind out of my sails. So much so that something has snapped inside of me, and I have decided that I don’t think I am going to buy any more audio gear in the foreseeable future. I will simply enjoy what I have. Besides, Spring is basically here, which means it’s riding season! At this point I would rather be out on one of the bikes anyway.

I buy $5-6k a month in audio equipment, let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll be happy to tell you the best place and time to buy it. The next event worth waiting for is the Summer Sale on Aliexpress, Amazon Prime day is a joke just for clearing no name overstock items. On Camelcamelcamel.com you can track Amazon sales and historic prices for an item. Just depends what it is and buying used or new.

Hey dude! Well, I was in a decision tree for either:
Headamp GSX-Mini Headphone amplifier. This would replace the SA-1 I currently have
… OR …
A choice between 2 power amps:
- Eversolo AMP-F2
- Nuprime STA-9X
I really want the AMP-F2, but by the time I had some money saved they were sold out. I am betting that IF they come back in stock the cost will be higher than before. The Nuprime looks to be stable at the moment, but I’m guessing that price won’t hold for too much longer. And now the ST-10 is out! The GSX-Mini is the one that is annoying me the most, though. When I first spotted that one it was around 1500 bucks, now it’s 2000.
On top of that, it’s harder than ever to save any money because everything else is going up - food, gas, energy, water, don’t get me started on insurance (lousy thieves) - Life is gettin harder for a workin class dog like me!

Good point, Sir. I will look into it. Typically I like to buy new, but as things get worse You have to start thinking about different options. 
I appreciate that. Below are a couple things I have been looking at. Although Headamp has annoyed me enough to where that will most likely get scratched completely. If I find an alternative, I will let you know. Thanks again.
I agree with you on typically buying new things, but if you look around there are some good deals to be had on used equipment. I always will target the item(s) that look brand new. You know that those people took good care of it especially when it is a more expensive piece of gear. You just have to do your due diligence on the item and you already know this.

I’ll write up something, the DO300EX sounds completely amazing, if it sounds even as good but with more power it’s a no brainer to recommend. Soundstage and bass dynamics with different hits having impact, it’s just more fun than Topping. It’s like a shorter note decay using default filter. I was turning the volume up way more than usual, the DO300EX is just more engaging. 1 watt at 32 ohm is the limiting factor, the DO400 has 3 watts into 32 ohm so that’s really power so much of what’s on the market.
Well well well. Interesting opportunity for someone here. I can’t say I am not incredibly curious about this pair of IEMs.
