I’m really excited about these headphones. i’m thinking of getting it. Anyone know how it sounds? is it good?
I used to have one, pretty unique sound. It is brighter but also has decent bass, easy to drive, and also has decent detail. It doesn’t handle complex tracks well and gets muddled, and the signature can be pretty wonky at times depending on the music. It’s a love or hate thing I feel like

If you don’t have a wide enough head, it tends to sit on your head like this \
, which isn’t the most comfortable. It would fit like the audio Technica you have already tried, but a bit better (I think you tried an ad900x)
Well what bugs me the most about audio technica headphones is the majority of them dont have tilt. and i think a headphone has got to have tilt. I can do without swivel, but its got to have tilt. I just dont understand the thinking at audio technica. cables dont detach either and its a 1200$ headphone. The wings. Maybe they should just stick with cheaper headphones lol.

If anybody is looking for a good deal on some Sundara’s, there is a guy on CAM asking $400.00 for a set he bought a few weeks ago. Since he is in Vancouver I think he might have got in on the same sale I did.
Only drawback is that he has no history on CAM.

This type of thing really bugs me. Its a bit of metal and a stone base. Even if it was made of silver and marble i dont think it would reach that price. This is Focal saying “Hey we got a lot of rich guys buying our stuff. We can charge this much for a headphone stand and get away with it. And they can brag and show it off to their friends” So much waste here makes me wanna punch the guy who thought of this right in the face.
