I’ve only demoed the Utopia in-store and haven’t heard the Empereans, so can’t compare. From what I’ve read, though, the Empereans are a little polarizing on sound for the price. I personally didn’t care for the sound of the Utopia much, nor the Senn 800s or LCD-4 I demoed the same day. Personally preferred the LCD-2 microsuede, but I do lean to a warm preference.

those are garbage, i hated them. they feel wierd and the sound sig is meh. i even tried real hard to like them, but the headband is all thats good about them. wound up giving them away as i could not justify to myself even selling them for 5$ to someone
