Can someone who bought these from the linsoul website help me please
I ordered the p1ās and chose DHL expedited shipping which claimed free shipping. Now I get an email that says 199$ from DHL. Wtf
Is this correct?
Keep in mind that I can be a complete idiot and not realize something
DHL isnāt free. Choose the free shipping option I forgot what itās called specifically but definitely not DHL.
But it says free though
You think I should cancel and reorder before itās too late?
Checked my email again it says āstandard shipping (7-20 days)ā.
I suggest you email them to sort this out.
Thank you so frikin much, you just saved me 200$!
Iām scared to death because they supposedly ship in 2 days. I hope linsoul letās me cancel
I mean, donāt worry, it makes no sense. For something this small, even shipping from you to you, going around the world, wouldnāt cost 200$. Lol.
lol the option on the site is āEpedited Shipping By DHL, over USD 200ā
You only get that if you have an order over 200 bucks, itās weird that itās an option but I remember almost clicking that.
The option is only free if you order 199 dollars or more of items.
It does specifically say that there. So kinda your own fault if you selected it.
Although it should not be too expensive. For me to South Africa is 12 USD for expedited shipping.
The expedited shipping option is also not just DHL. It is DHL/EMS/FedEx/UPS. So whichever is the correct one for your location.
Chances are you will either be automatically pushed onto the slower free shipping or they will send you and email and ask you to pay the 12 or so dollars for it.
So not the end of the world.
However you should be more careful in the future.
Is everybody still waiting on these? I ordered on the 20th. They shipped on the 28th and JUST made it to customs. Iāve talked to Linsoul and they keep telling me it should be here in a few days. Anytime I ask for some type of reimbursement or some type of cable or something thrown in free, they disappear
Still waiting here. Ordered release day. Products from China seem to always take their time; just gotta have patience.
I ordered on the 20th June (delivery to UK) and picked them up from the post office yesterday (10th July).
They eventually arrived, first time dealing with linsoul and I just had to be patient.
Trying them for the first time this morning on my commute. Initial reactions are fantastic sound stage and detail. Such an upgrade on my Sound magic e10 (which served me very well).
I am using an mpow receiver with my phone. However, I have to max the thing out to get any sort of volume. Any suggestions of an upgraded bluetooth receiver with more juice? Es1000 or fiio btr3 are what Iām looking at.
Cheers Z for showing these off, been a lurker for a while and this is my first knee jerk purchase off one of your reviews. Lets hope I donāt make a habit of it.
were you part of the original super early bird orders? If yes then yes it should have started shipping from the 28th to the 31st. Depending how early you were.
Even if you ordered on the 20th, unless you were very very quick (first two or three hours), you were not part of the super early bird launch.
If you were not part of the super early bird order then you need to wait until the 10th of July. Some of those have shipped out already.
Also take into account that delivery times are stated in working days. Unless you paid for DHL, FedEx, EMS etc. Then you are looking at 7-12 working days depending where you are. Excluding however long your internal postal system takes. This is not controlled by Linsoul.
I would suggest checking if you did get in on the super early bird offer. If not you canāt really complain. They are shipping out non super early bird before they promised.
If you take a look way up in this thread I did some math and discussions about power requirements for the P1.
You are looking at needing minimum about 13 mw output power to get to barely listenable. 20mw to start actually getting somewhere. 40 mw is where you are really wanting to be minimum.
100-130mw is getting close to max.
So look for a device that can do at least 40mw output power.
The Fiio btr3 is not going to do it. Thatās about 28 mw output power at 20 ohms. 33 mw at 16 ohms.
You are going to have the same issue as the mpow.
The EarStudio es100 will just barely cut it for half decent listening volumes. That is 40mw at 16 ohm. So roughly 35 mw at 20. Very rough guess numbers here I am not going to do the math.
But it is around there. Theoretically you should get to 94 db with that.
If Bluetooth isnāt so important maybe have a look for something else.
Or use the mpow with a portable amp if you have no issues with the dac quality of the mpow. Perhaps the topping nx1s or the fiio A3. something like that.
Cheers pal for the calculations, that makes sense. Learnt something today
I did have the idea of using the mpow in conjunction with something else, so think that might be what iām looking for.
Sorry, I have tried to look online but nothing, any idea what mW output the LG V20 has?
Mine arrived 2 days ago. Going through burn in and listening. Not ready to write an impression yet but one thing is for sure: Burn in is necessary. Bass was missing at first, but it was brought up to how the reviewers described it after 24hr of burning in. Not sure you really need 24hrs but I just left it there playing pink noise for one whole day.
not sure on the mw side of things for the v20. I do know it is a 2 volt output. But no idea on mw.
The v10 as far as i know was about 45-50 at 32 ohm. I think the v20 was a bit more.
I think it should be okay. It does have a significant amount of power compared to other normal phones.
But I canāt guarantee that.
