Tin T4 just got announced

Since then have yet to see them go over a $90 I think if the stay at the price they are now they are perfectly fine

Yeah after testing them out for about a week they defenetly aren’t worth the price they are selling for .They are fair at 50$.In my opinion they are a replacement for the t2.They dont compete with the cheaper BLON3 cause the sound signature if more full with the BLON3, the t4 are balanced flat with more bass .

So your saying it’s for a different taste but not something to compare to the blons

Anything is comparable especially for those who were pinning the t4 to the BLON3. If your looking for bassy detailed iem BLON3 if your looking for more natural sound t4

Ah ok. Misunderstood your last comment.makes sense.

Pretty much 2 different signatures for different people. Why not get both lol

after a few hours at home with the T4 three days ago… felt sound changing … so ditched the premounted red/white tips cause had problems with sealing(over ear cable worn no problem, though hanging classic down a few problems with inconsistance) and mounted the grey foamies which came with the T3s

way better for stable seal, less wide stage, though better controlled highs - all balanced… still have to check out single ended and in 2 or three 3 weeks (after the foamies got meeehh), I will try the grey silicone tips which came with the T4 and the INAIRS foamies I used with my T2 Pro and T3

isolation with the foamies is way better - sometimes even to strong

foamies make my ears itch and to me not as comfortable so I gave up on them a while ago. I like the stock smalls on these .

The only foams that don’t make my ear itch are the ikko planet I tips

Like the ikko tips but a normal shape. These are my absolute favorite tip.

The reason I like the ikko tips is because they are shorter and are more rounded with a smaller opening

I get you. The reason I love these is because the material is like a slick wax like the ikko tips which I find to cause me virtually no irritation or itching.

I haven’t done the math but that same page has an option for tips that are exactly the same as the ikko tips but maybe cheaper.

Only foam tips I’ve used so far have just been dekoni. I’ve never had an itchy feeling or irritation and I have pretty sensitive skin too. Is this a common thing to experience with foam tips?

I don’t think so I have had issues in the past I also have tiny ear holes so I’m most likely just an exception

Sounds very similar to the INAIRS tips
super easy to insert… not as deep, and not so soft
with a slicker material

So i used mine yesterday for a couple of hours, they were really good! If you ignore the hype and think of it as a clean slate, just a new IEM i absolutely LOVE them. Very good clean sound, i was also surprised by how much bigger the sound stage was in comparison to the T2s. And the most important thing for me as a kpop enthusiast was that these were the first headphone/IEMs that tamed the vocals PERFECTLY while maintaining the integrity and general feel of the tracks. I immediately tested them on Gfriend - Sunny Summer which is the most PIERCING female voices i’ve heard and was schocked by how good and smooth it sounded. The blon 03s just ruin the vibe of the track because of the bassy tone but these were a perfect fit. The guitar separation and wide stage were electric on The Strokes - Ize of the world and it just sounded beautiful. The bass was good, didn’t ever feel it ruined a bright track’s vibe which the BLONS do so they are more genre dependant. Yeah it really is a T2 upgrade, but i must say that personally i actually started missing the contrast that the sharp highs brought into the table from the T2s. Something felt lacking, as i write this looking back i realize that just bumping up the volume kind of takes care of that but over having one iem that does it all to a good level i think i prefer having my DT770s and BLONS holding down each side of the extremems. When i do want a more (to me anyways) balanced sound or something to hear my piercing kpop on i just use my RB42s. It was a good surprise to finally find such a good balanced sound for multiple genres in 1 IEM. But i will be giving it away to my brother as he dosen’t have any and i have 3 lol. He’s always been an IEM guy so it will work out well. When it comes to the price, i got mine at a hell of a bargain and honestly at the price of 89 it’s fine too. Over 100 bucks is fine too (as long as you are one of those who wants just ONE IEM otherwise buy T2s and a BLON 03) and i totally think its worth it. But if you don’t mind getting 75% of the sound quality by having less soundstage, piercing highs slightly less refined bass i recommend the T2.

Finally fuck the cable the T4s come with, honestly the entire IEM feels and looks kind of cheap. Great sound tho!!!
