đŸ”¶ Tripowin X BGGAR Mele

Have to agree. They are so minimal I feel they have little to no effect on the sound for better of worse. They do seal for me which is a miracle but it’s not super air tight like Spinfits are for me, (which actually might be a good thing for inner-ear pressure build up). I wish there was a little more material (larger sheath) and I wish the nozzle was a bit softer. That might be the end all-be all endgame tip right there.

Everything stock running from a phone is fine with the Mele. They are the least source-dependent and definitely don’t require an amp. You might get a low-hiss from your phone in which case you might need like a $10 dongle. But don’t go looking for a solution until you have a problem.

Wow! Sure you’re in the right forum? lol This is some serious common sense right here. I like you!

Yeah they aren’t the most comfortable which, again, defeats the purpose of an IEM tip for me. But I still go back to them if I want to hear more texture in a new song and can’t use open-back headphones due to construction going on outside.

I concur with your assessment. Nice to see another fellow MEST owner.

I have to tell you something that bothers me: I began my “review” with my topping dx3 pro V2. After having tested during approx 1h, I plugged the Mele in my es100, and it sounded completely different. I never heard such a difference between my 2 sources. I have to do some a/b tests to try and check placebo effect or something. My main fear is having to throw all the tests I’ve done in the trash because of a bad setting.

Did just happened on a discord. @hawaiibadboy was there. People had no treble on powerful sources with mele. They got the results after changing to less powerful stuff.

I don’t have a MEST. I got the 3DT instead. Oh boy was that one a mistake

Loooooooool.

@Resolution is praying the shit out of it right now.

This is too funny

Don’t get me wrong the sound and technicalities are fine if not a tad claustrophobic but it breaks the cardinal sin for an IEM for me-it is uncomfortable and has driver flex if you adjust it too much and tends to suck out all air from inside your head over time. So I just never use it

Sorry, I cant stop laughing. This is too funny

Yes! Too much power is certainly a thing for IEMs! I remember someone told me that about the Qudelix which has a “High” and “Low” power mode and you can absolutely hear the difference the “High” power mode makes. It sounds like it hollows out the sound. So strange!

Glad to provide the gift of laughter!

Mele is the ultimate beater set. Grab Apple dongle and go

Interesting. Depending on the frequency my ear does anchor, that could explain my experience. I definitely will have to test all this again to verify my impression. The best would be to check with an iem mic

Nite to myself: remember to fiddle with gain settings, too.

You beat me to it. Was about to paste that lol

Dude, that sucks. The 3DT fits me fine. I have issues with an kind of IEM that has venting issues (inner ear suction, cannot use unvented all BA iems what so ever) and I have no issues with the 3DT. No driver flex for me either yet.

Ha ha, yeah, I have been praising it for its slam. The MEST MKII slams just as hard if not even harder. You would never want to put the Zen in your ears if you can’t handle the 3DT.

u own it . So you deserve it . Go ahead post it :joy::rofl:

No bro, I’m not red lol

He knows his shit, im just a troll. Go ahead
