Waited a month and a half for the gold Mele set to arrive but they were absolutely worth the wait. Great job tuning these @hawaiibadboy. Iâve been listening to the new Foo Fighters album with these all morning and the replay is ultra enjoyable. As a huge unexpected bonus, they came with a decent carrying case and a nice cable too. This set is a keeper.

Donât know the seller but if youâre in the UK and want a set ASAP then this might be of interest 
I might get to check out the gold Mele soon ( I own the black ).
I had the right one out of my ear, and when I got up, I must have leaned too far forward
⊠and plop, right into my cup of coffee
It is currently in a cup of white rice drying off, but we will see.

I had the same issue. I think at some point an amount of ear wax started blocking the filter and I was noticing a channel imbalance that was driving me crazy. It was all good was I removed the filter and I also didnât notice that much difference in the sound profile.
Would be really interested in a graph to check out tho

I have pair of plastic tweezers that I use just to clean my IEMs. I also remove and clean my ear tips with warm water occasionally. I generate too much ear wax to âhope it all works outâ
I know what you mean, but it wasnât like that. I canât tell by looking at the filter that it is clogged, but hearing sound through Mele it was pretty noticeable that there was a channel imbalance and it went away after removing each filter

That is pretty bizarre, but those holes are tiny, and I am guessing that even partial blockage(s) would matter. At least taking the filters out fixed it.

Ordered with 2.5mm Jelly. This Is way to well tuned and priced not to hear. Geezum.
If this provides equivalent or nearly as much joy as my Zen I will feel pretty stupid for spending that much money on the zen.

I got mine with the 2.5mm Jelly cable too, and was very happy with it, and I own the all grey 16 core from Linsoul too. That said, the stock cable on Mele is still nicer than any $80 IEM I have purchased.

I agree. Itâs really, really nice and âcleanâ looking with the tiny 3.5mm connector and flush fitting 2-pins.
I almost always change cables on sets I like but on the Meles I probably wonât bother.

totally agree with you, the stock cable just so smooth and tangle free and light weight, really adding to the comfort experience, was switching cables and always went back to the stock one

With some coupons and no taxes vs tax, I can buy Aria and Mele for the same price. Last day of this sale and I still couldnât decide.

How much do you enjoy sub bass and bass? With tip rolling, you can squeeze more bass out of Starfield/Aria, but I donât think you get the same slam and rumble like with Mele. Starfield/Aria has better treble and more sparkle IMO. Good luck!

gotta love the bass pulls on the Mele 7 seconds into the song in,
Bass guitar reverb after each pull on the Mele is real. In that regard, its comparable to OH10, same cable, same tips, same setup to test.
