Digital audio jitter can also definitely be more subtle… it doesn’t have to be an obvious distortion like in that video. I don’t know that you have to buy expensive-ass cables for digital SPDIF… but I know that video is a little too reductive about the potential issues of jitter in the conclusion.
Nicee, let us know how it stacks up
Yes, I have now officially spent enough on audio for a while…
Isn’t that more commonly known as coax?
Yea, pretty much. “The signal is transmitted over either a coaxial cable with RCA connectors or a fiber optic cable with TOSLINK connectors”
I caved during my late night review secession.
Lets goooo lol, I wonder what you will think compared to the 2.5 pro?
I did my best with the Focus pads, but I really don’t like PU leather. I just wish there weren’t a thousand variations of pad mounts. I have a box full of pads, but no you need OUR pads!
Nice, what are you thinking so far?
So far it’s been great! I have yet to mess around and try different headphones but right now it hasn’t disappointed. One reason I considered this was from your recommendation and I also wanted to be a guinea pig in trying something new that not a lot of people have a review on.
Lol well glad it worked out for you
Was it a fun place to visit? It’s semi-close to me. Well, more like 1.5 hrs each way, but worth it if it’s a good experience.
Have you been there? I think it’s worth while to listen to all of their new headphone amps. They have a room to demo the speaker amps as well.
You probably could spend an entire day there. They had surfaces with some music (I’m not sure if they were lossy or not), but you could login to your preferred streaming service.
This was six months ago and half their headphones.
I didn’t know there was a Schiit store. The “listening lab” is cool!
The Schittr, Santa Clarita.
