I hope you like them. If you don’t like the pads there are plenty on options. Pad swapping is basically the entirety of the “TR-X00 have been discontinued” thread. That and the Lawton mods/tune-up.
Yeah, I’m enjoying so far. Both earcups have some cosmetic damage but otherwise they seem fine. I may also open them up and do a detachable cable mod, too.
@Antpage2 lambskin pads help with the treble and don’t seem to hurt anything else. I’m currently using the dekoni X00 lambskin pads and it sounds great. I also intend to test these accessory house global pads when I get the time. They are war cheaper and more comfortable, but I don’t know uf they will sound good on the DT-770.

I can highly rec it
I thought they were the best part of the 1540’s. Very comfortable.
How do you like the spicy ketchup?
Picked up ones of these for $130 including shipping on ebay. It was a little rough but hell for something that’s not in plain sight to begin with, I’m happy for a good score.
How good is this ?Masterpiece or mid range?
No idea but they’re well reviewed. I’ve seen other members here with these family types of Furman units and I needed a power strip for a whole rewire of my desk so I figured I’d jump on this. They retail for 4 and change so not much more than spending 70 bucks for a quality surge suppressor.
Okay, is it better as a power connector strippes?
It look very not Bad.The Rear side is really a Monster in plug in‘s.
For the the price for sure a good deal, i hope for you all is okay with it.
Yeah but its very hard to find. as soon as they go up for sale they get bought and Beyer stopped manufacturing it. Or i would have bought that instead.
Oh i would never replace the pads that some with it. Those wonderfully silver super comfy pads! I love em.
Fostex? Aren’t you talking about the Beyer DT770 600ohm or did I miss something?
LOL so talking about so many headphones im getting my manufacturers mixed up
Maybe take a break then? Put some headphones on, some music you have not listened to in ages and relax.
Furman’s are pretty legit.
Old house I was in had some old knob and tube wiring and some newer stuff. We installed a new GFCI outlet directly to the circuit panel and my overkill PC for the time with it’s 850w PSU would trip the GFCI every time it was powered on, older plasma and the rest of the HT system was on the same outlet. So annoying until I bought a power conditioner (Monster tho, not nearly as nice as the Furman) and that solved the issue immediately. The PSU power spike at the initial power would draw from the caps in the monster and not present a load to the GFCI and trip it.
Take advantage of the isolated power banks for a meaty sub and other equipment. Supposed to help keep it from interfering with each other.
