What did you buy today? (Part 1)

For sure, just thought it was funny but it’s definitely a great pairing. I appreciate the feedback!

It’s really not reasonable lol no worries

Maybe it’s me, but the fit of the T2 is horrible so far. I have only tried them with an over-ear cable, and I tried swapping the left for the right, but I have not been able to get a decent fit so far, not even without any cables attached… My FA1’s are stuck in my ears rock solid and comfy, and I tried the (regular silicone) ear tips I use on those on the T2 but no luck yet.

Just picked up a set of Sundaras and a Gen 2 Schitt Stack from local Craigslist for $340. I’m pretty pumped about it.

Oh, and I bought a Ukulele to play with (first instrument to try and learn on).

It’s going to be a fun Spring Break.

Huh, well that’s odd to say the least, I use the stock silicone tips and they fit well, use them with the wire over and behind the ear and they hold their place.

Huh, maybe get different size/material foam tips then, I’ve heard those usually help with fit? Dang, well at least you have well fitting FA1.

So it’s not just my ears…thank you! I haven’t seen anyone else complain about it. I never got a good fit and I felt like I had uncomfortable ear plugs on the whole time. When I changed from over ear to straight downwards the weight of the cable would be too much so that didn’t work either.

You’re not alone. I hate the fit of my Tin T3.

I think you’re going to enjoy it!

Focal cables are so you can listen to your headphones while you wait for your real cables to arrive.

I think the rubber “Pro” cable would probably be better.

I may be in the minority, but I like coiled cables.

coiled cables would likely be okay if there is at least 3ft straight length on the headphone connector side. I would HATE to have my elbow constantly coming into contact with a big unwieldy and clunky coil.

I think we need to have someone make a giant self-roll-up thing you could stick under your desk. you probably would need a couple for the different ‘types’ of connectors you’d be using, but yanking it and letting it snap back in like you do a vacuum would be wicked awesome!

Sounds like a neumatic setup!

For some reason this is making me think of tape measures now. I’m imagining you stick your cable in and it will retract the whole cable in like a tape measure would.

exactly!!!

Retracts under your desktop and shatters your headphones to pieces because you used the wrong spring :stuck_out_tongue:

Received a Micca MB42 center, the black wood “finish” looks exactly like my black Fluance SX6s. Will install soon. My badass 5.1 setup is done! 4xSX6 and 1xMB42C. :grinning:

Edit: Installed. Man, great in-your-face mids (carbon fiber I think). That’s a perfect center!
Edit again: I said 5.1, but, no subwoofers. Not interested (yet). I mean, you might as well say it’s already a 5.4, have you heard the SX6s, on a high shelf? Lol.
