I’m slowly finding my preferred sound signature for 75% of my listening enjoyment. The other 25% is the total polar opposite and requires high power solid state with large woofers and subwoofers for extreme volume and an over-emphasized bass presence that is more club like than anything of an audiophile level or resemblance. This opposite style of music appreciation has troubled me and made my search difficult but now that i better understand myself i can more comfortably accept the two Opposite sides of my taste preference and simply keep them separated.

It’s like finding one car do take to track day but also go off roading with. It doesn’t happen naturally and it’s only even possible when you’re willing to make a lot of compromises. I’m with you dedicated for purpose is a much simpler and direct (sometimes even cheaper) route.

I literally pondered on these at $429 for only 2 hours and finally decided to pull the trigger. Once I press the checkout button the price rises to $690!!! I’m so pissed.
Got one on ebay brand new for $300.
Will be selling my idsd nano bl, lite dac ah, and archel to compensate.

Received the kph30i today, i had to order them from USA and paid way too much for them, but delivery was fast so that’s nice.
I have to say they’ll are far from my favourite Koss headphones, but at least I can rest easy knowing I have the collection completed.
Not confident enough to replace the pads though, I paid way too much to break them.

Just received this headphone cable:
30$ and Oxygen Free Copper Braided, Cable material: 8 cores0.65mm(70.1mm）4+4 Hybrid Silver plated 4N OCC copper wire Cable.
Looked like a good deal for quality cable for my Nighthawks. The cable it came with was not making a good connection. quality going in and out. so i bought this. I think i hear a difference. I think they sound better with this cable. placebo?
