Took nearly a month but the Periapt cable to replace the mini-XLR cable for the DT 177X GO is finally here! So happy to be able to get rid of this stupid, janky stock cable.

For some reason, the pictures show the light brighter than it actually is in person. I’d say the glare and brightness is reduced by 50% per cover/sticker. For an $8 solution, I’m satisfied.

50% is okay and important to know, because we all end with a RNHP eventually

Ain’t that the truth.

OFC copper might be inexpensive, it’s still excellent  :+1:

Educate me! I’m putting together a new 2.1 system for the first time since really diving into this hobby… What type of wire would you consider a step above?

Andrew, splurge an extra $20-40 and use the knukoceptz speaker wire. I use this and similar media bridge connectors and am very happy, those particular connectors are my favorites becaus ethey have little ridges that really hold the wire in nice and tight and i don’t have to solder. Hell i made some speaker cables just this morning…i should have taken pictures.

AFAIK oxygen-free copper is the “norm”, and it’s just the best you can get, and above that there’s just silver, lol. :moneybag:

Considering I just bought the above on April 26 and I bought an elex today… I think no end in sight was more accurate. To think just this January, spending 117 on a 4xx seemed like a lot…
