What do you think of the Klipsch? I have those stands and was thinking of grabbing those speakers myself.
I think they’re fantastic. They lack a bit of lower end punch by default, but there’s an EQ toggle setting (written in the manual, I don’t remember it on top of my head) that boosts them in the lower end. Otherwise they can be paired with a subwoofer. Which brings me to the best part, they have all the connectability. Phono/RCA, BT, optical, sub-out. They’re often on sale so I wouldn’t say no to them if you can get a good deal. Definitely a step up from the XTZ Tune 4 that I had before and those were more expensive retail.
A friend of mine bought the 51’s, haven’t heard them myself but I’d reckon they’d be a step up in oompfh if that’s what you’re after. I think these do fine on my desk and produce good enough low end to be servicable as near field monitors. Maybe the sound characteristics will change with the stands though. I’ll have to give them a re-review once I’ve re-arranged my whole setup sometimes next week.
EDIT: I should say I listen to mostly electronic, jazz, female vocals, classical Music. I haven’t done much listening to metal, rock etc on them despite that usually being in my library. But I have a pair of Klipsch RF-63 (first model) as main stereo setup. I really like the Klipsch sound and what those horns can deliver.

Amazing! I do recommend checking out the KZ ZS10Pro at some point (one of the cheapest audiophile recommends I can give). I enjoy them more than my T2’s. As for the BTR5… I just found out that when running balanced actually makes my Abyss Diana Phi’s sound pretty good (good enough to travel with and not worry). ENJOY!!

Follow up. Given my general inability to buy the IFI Black Label or Zen Dac this weekend (also the lack of real presence of the ZenCan in Canada), I’ve just hooked my listen pros (really punch above their weight) to my Komplete Audio 2 interface which can do up to 24/198
It’s certainly not my chord lol but it’s overall serviceable.

I didn’t know we had a thread like that, hah. I will probably post some day after the re-arrangement of my setup. Gives me a reason to whip out the camera and lights for some (hopefully) pretty shots.
The collection of PVC has grown rather substantial over the years, but as of late I have most of them in boxes and just a handful on my desk.

Update 2 NOPE. Really not a good sign when your Headphone output stage on your interface isnt as good as headphone out on the Mac Pro laptop Might as well eat it and buy the sabaj or wait for the week to come around so I can get the Black Label
