Oh those ones that Zeos reviewed, yeah I heard it’s very good. I guess I just have that sentimental feeling for the M40x since those were my very first headphones that introduced me to this hobby.
The Susvara’s sound awesome! However, on the poor side of town, I re-bought the HD600’s.
I was a hard core smoker from 13 to 46 and still kind of miss it. If I am walking by people smoking, I will slow down and try to enjoy some of it.
But man, do smokers stink! I opened my new headphones and wow! I think he was still chain smoking when he packed them up.
Putting them on the tube now and dreaming that they are like economy Susvara’s.
I think you have to stop dithering and make a real commitment to this hobby.
Very well. I’ll let you know when the Holo May gets here…
Get out of my head!
Now for less expensive things… Finally received MH750s I ordered in april (damn covid!).
Nice stamps Hey, that’s a song!
P.S.: Kanoya is pretty much the only reliable seller for MH750/755s. He was “away” on eBay last month, though.
My K550 MKiii where mine. Don’t use them so much anymore, but they do get use here and there
Sucks about the smoke. Thinking of buying new ear and headband pads? I’m sure that would help a ton. The 600’s have become one of my favourites lately. Love them. I also did a rebuy after being convinced they scale really well.
After more than a month, this finally arrived today. This is to use with the Tin T2 and my headphones. Now I may up my IEM game.
The pads aren’t horrible. When I put my 660’s beside them (with about 40 to 50 hours), you can see a noticeable difference. The seller said they were “as new”. Not really, but they’re fine. Really digging the sound. I started off on some classic rock and it was like, “Well, that doesn’t sound good!”
After a few songs I jumped over to some blues with Ash Grundwald. Wow, they sound great! At one point I was listening to the instruments filling my ears but could hear the back up vocalists like they were across the room. VERY cool.
oh yeah they look good actually I just meant to eliminate the smoke smell. pads are hit and miss I think because ive bought brand new ones and they can look a little uneven so maybe the seller was being honest. even with the new not-so-uniform pads its a drastic improvement over well used pads… anyways, glad youre enjoying them
edit: also congrats on quitting
I’m truly waiting for someone to post “Fuck it I bought a Senn HE1” LOL
That actually did happen with the HE90 though lol.
DT880 Premium Chrome Edition (250 ohm).
Got these today second hand. I know people tend to prefer the 600 ohm dt880, but I got these in a pretty good deal and my e10k can drive them sufficiently, only need to turn it up to 5. Still planning to get a Liquid Spark though…
Oh, I remember that. I wonder if @rmsanger actually went through with it, and how does it sound according to @rmsanger? I know that the HE90 favored to the HE1 by that catman at SBAF.
May I inquire where you got the leather strap from? I’ve seen a bunch of people with similar comfort strap but haven’t found out where it’s sold.
You bet dude, give this dude an email, https://www.instagram.com/understatedmontreal/ he’s done one up for my T60 and LCD2c’s . Laurent’s a great guy.
LCD-24 arrived today, and just got them hooked up on the V200. Immediately impressive, but will hold comments until I have more time with them. And of course now it’s time to get ready for dinner…
Many thanks!
But that’s for month’s order probably. As of now, the stars (and orders) kind of aligned and it became a bit of a mishmash.
First up was this, after many months of being delayed either because of production issues or covid. I love the Atelier games and I have the Atelier Sophie Plachta figure since before, so this will be a great addition in the collection.
Then I got these desk speaker stands because I wanted to raise up my Klipsch R-41pm and get some much needed space on my desk for another piece of equipment.
The main piece that will become my new “hub”, the Yamaha AG03. Upgrading, or side-grading my recording setup from the current Røde NT-USB to a Røde PodMic.
That along with some random assortment of XLR, RCA and patch cables to get it all connected as I want while still being able to use my SMSL SP200, Klipsch R-41pm and SMSL SU-8 without too much of a fuss.
Hopefully most of the audio equipment will arrive sometimes next week, then it’s going to be a bit of an experiment to see if it all works as I want. I hope it will make my life a little bit easier, or at the very least more convenient so I don’t have to dick around with software and virtual audio cables and such. I’d rather just fiddle with knobs and sliders and see what’s going on ahead of me instead of having to tab out or keep multiple windows open on the side monitor.
Soon™!
