Grado cables are actually pretty OK for me. They are a nice soft kind of plasticy rubber that is basically not microphonic at all and seems rather durable. The real issue is how they package the cable.
The only issue I have is the jank and this would fix that.
They really should figure out a system like the Audeze LCD-2 with that little triangle attached to the bottom of the cup. It really is ridiculous that their $1000+ models are still attached cables.
it’s Quartz, its pretty comfortable, as a pasement dweller though it is cold when I haven’t been typing for a while but also warms up eventually I just like the weight it has. it will keep me from moving it and playing with it unlike my old wrist rests which my idle hands mangled
