What did you buy today? (Part 1)

Wave is correct. I normally turn my gear off…but my multibit/r2r dacs are the exception as I always leave them on.

I’ve been thinking of putting an order in for some Argons but having to wait always makes me hesitate.

I’m glad I took a chance on these–well worth $209.

Yeah I wasn’t expecting them to take quite as long as they did, but at least they’re here now.

Might be worth keeping an eye out for a used pair so you won’t have to wait as long

Idk, i think it would of looked better in black

Sundara came a few days ago to try, but it goes back. Doesn’t wow me in any way. And it is somewhat uncomfortable.

And an AliExpress cable for the T1. I guess it’s okay for the price. Doesn’t make noise like the original one when touching something

Here’s how stupid I am: when this special was initially posted, my brain said “I am not in the market for a Denon AVR” and I scrolled by.
By the time I figured out it was the little brother of the D7200 headphones, they were gone. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Isn’t there a thread somewhere about discussing personal stupidity…

ALO audio deals
CFA use this site to sell off B-stock etc. The Orion CK model is sold out, but they have various models more or less all the time.

Yep perhaps, but I was already invested in the silver finish and would have needed to figure out something to do about the Asgard too.

And yes, I totally spaced and was so caught up in the moment that I had already ordered before remembering there might have been a silver option available here…

I had them in my cart but balked… I really shouldn’t be spending any more $ on hps when I need other things… would love to hear feedback after you’ve had them a bit.

Buy this Card last week, and was this week not at Home.
Today i picked it up after this Hard week at School.

Buy it with the Audiophonics Psu and connected the Card with External power.

Ouuuffff makes alarm this little piece.

I installed it earlier and my pc runs much better by relieving the card.
Before i had always noticed such a short buzzing sound when i opened a program or worked on the side, mainly when music was playing through the system and not through the headphones. this is completely eliminated. there is nothing to hear except nothing . That was the reason why i bought you in the first place.
In the sound output I have gained something in addition.
A little more deep and crisp bass that starts early with the bass especially on the system.
And also more depth and a bit black.

With the headphones I appreciate it a little bit less, there I perceive more of the increase of depth and the bass starts a little bit earlier.
And the instruments sound a bit longer than usual on the Singxer Sda 2.

I know the part costs a lot but it is worth it, especially on the system I would say the increase is the biggest, but also on the Dac itself for headphones.
Again Matrix typical, great product that did not disappoint me.
First class workmanship, worth every penny I can recommend.

I’m impressed with DHL shipping on this. 5 days from when I ordered it, it was on my doorstep; China to Michigan. It was just delivered about 15 minutes ago.

Being that I’ve only had them 15 minutes, I have no opinion on sound or long term comfort. However, the Pelican type case it came in is quite nice and even has a set of keys for locking it.

Looking over the build quality for a minute and it appears to be well made and very nice looking.

With regards to the cable, Z is right about it, it’s not very user friendly. It’s well built and appears durable, but that durability comes at a cost. The cost is flexibility and wearing comfort/maneuverability.

The first thing that I found which I do not like at all is the 1/4" adapter. It is not a screw-on type and doesn’t like to stay connected to the cable when you try to unplug it from an amp. The adapter has a tendency to stay in the amp and become disconnected from the cable. The fit is too loose.

This will be fixed once my custom order from Hart Audio is built and arrives. Hart Audio confirmed my custom order and I paid for it last night. But it will be a few weeks before I get it I think.
