I will say my opinion of the Crack in particular changes a lot based on the tubes I’ve put in. I can make it sound slow, fast, dark, warm, bright, solid state like, tubey, etc.
It’s like a chameleon haha

If you put it that way, the extra tubes should be included in the budget to get that variety, in mine at least, so its gonna be more than $500 probably

It is awesome! I was using mine all day with my “planar play off”. The T60RP’s are surpisingly good and Very bassy. And the Edition XX’s have a great sound on this amp.
Great compliment to the LP, but very different.

I picked up a Valhalla 2 for my new Clear MG Pro. I listened to the original Clear Pro off of the Valhalla 2 at the Schiitr a few months ago and it sounded really good. Fortunately it works well with the new Clear MG as well.
Luckily I received a pair of Brymars a while back. They have a very sweet midrange and work well with the Valhalla.

Trading my Liquid Platinum + cash for mint LCD-X w/ Hart Audio cable.
Nothing wrong with the MLP, I just prefer my V280 with my current headphones and I don’t want to drain my wallet rolling tubes… I would rather drain it trying different headphones and amps 
Also ordered a Singxer SA-1, hoping that can hold me off from springing for the GS-X mini
