Nice! I just started listening to RAM for the first time recently and I’ve become a big fan. Also downloaded Discovery but not feeling it as much, still good though.
Yeah great album. Seems to be one of the best quality vinyls I’ve spun yet. I think Giorgio is my favorite track from it.

The balanced Hart Audio cable for my 177Xs arrived last week. I went with the custom yellow. A major improvement over the stock cable for sure.

How do you like the DT177X?
They’re great. I bought the Brainwavz XL perforated pads on Zeos’s advice. Huge hassle to install stock Beyer pads, so the Brainwavz are staying on. I’m using the 177Xs at work - I love the way they shut the world out and let me just enjoy the music.

… first impressions?
The btr5 is impressive very accurate. And powerful.
The Koss : initially sucked but after like 10 minutes got better . Bassy drums sound great. Modern music not the best but classic rock sounds great. The drumms especially sound great. But it really isn’t too good in the mids kinda thin so hip hop isn’t the best sounding but seems to be getting better.
