Woohoo, after a month of waiting they have finally arrived! The Hart cable came in last week. When I put them on I immediately could tell these will, at the very least, be the most comfortable headphones I own.

What did I buy today? Well, I found an old pair of Beats by Dr. Dre powered head phones that I completely forgot about. I actually thought they had been chucked! I cleaned them up, replaced the batteries, tried them out on Amazon HD streaming with some Bang & Olefsen EQ, and they sound fantastic! Thus, finding these has "bought " me some time! 
I was starting a hunt for head phones, which I didn’t need to be given the money I have spent over these last couple weeks on the SMSL gear! I can get by with these for a while for sure. Whoda thunk it that these Dre’s would end up sounding this good.

I have not given them full justice yet, only been listening around the house with my Q5s (no bass boost and on high gain) while doing some chores, but they really are pretty amazing for what they cost. I have gone through Skinshape, Portishead, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Outkast, Kikagu Moyo, Knxledge, Aaron Frazer and some Future Disco label comp’s. Almost everything has sounded ‘just right’ to me and no hot spots or soreness on my upper jaw area. I really think I have finally found my daily driver and couldn’t be happier so far!

And they can be so much more with power. They are VERY hungry.
While they sound fine out of my LG V30 phone, they blow me away on my Violectric and Liquid Platinum amps. The bass is Huge with enough power.

My Sony MH755s arrived. One of those occasions where shipping never updates and they end up sitting in my mailbox for three days while I try to refresh the page to see if they even landed.
Pretty much what I expected. Amazing for the price, but I can see their faults. It is rather refreshing to listen to non-ChiFi sound sig for a change, tho. 
Currently debating what I should do about the cable… mmcx mod with a cheap cable? Or just hard-wire one of my Blon cables to it. I don’t much care about detachable cables, tbh.
btw, got MH750s on the way too.

So it did actually happen… i bought a daily driver.
Was not even a cheap one… and it’s pretty new. The very opposite a daily should be so my car friends will probably have a minor shock and mockery will be endless. 
again!
Though i have had "chity"cars in the past but not this new.
Plus sides it has surprisingly good stereos, i genuinely was shocked! Shiiet these bang! Cruise, aircon, mobile operated heater/cooler, single/three blinker action and since it’s only 80hp (slowwwwwwwwwww ASF!) but it does not use much fuel on “chity” driving plus yearly taxes are cheap.
If the BT works with audio / Spotify, should work on mobile usage. Im very happy with the new daily. It will taken to fix-shop so it will be cleaned, inside and out. Ready for those roads!

I just purchased an Astell & Kern SR25 DAP. It should arrive Wednesday or Thursday. Hopefully this will be a nice upgrade from my Hiby R5.

LSA HP-2 Ultra just arrived. Interesting sound. Initial impression is that I will really enjoy these, but they will take some getting used to as they have a unique way of presenting the music. Surprisingly light weight and extremely comfortable, even on my huge ass head. The bass extension and tonality on these may be the best I’ve ever heard, at least in a dynamic driver headphone.

This was on sale for $20 so I got one. It’s very nice and surprisingly ridgid for a semi-hard case. Only downside is it’s not as big inside as it’s outer size would lead you to believe. I still like it though.
