maybe we’ll meet up at one of the events there, our women can go for a stroll together and have a cozy wine while we have fun there.
In Heidelberg not in Poland

Also, a rep from Apos got back to me about the missing USB cable and not even 5 minutes after I responded to confirm the USB cable was missing, I got a partial refund. Very impressed.
Of course- we had march in mind
Not sure yet about the exact weekend
This would be wonderful! I do mark your comment as favorite- so if we have a date… I come back to you
My wife is not drinking- though quite funny anyways
cool!
How do the 4xx sound w/ the zmf pads?
For right now, I’m confused by the pads. They are ALOT thicker and stiffer then stock, so that fucks with comfort. For right now, it’s like the bass extension is cut shorter just a little bit. What really fucks with my head a bit is that while things sound further out (product of the thicker pads), but it’s like the sound stage is smaller (but only just enough to be noticeable without having to actively listen for it).
I get the feeling that I’m gonna need to break in the pads before I can give a finalized verdict on them.
Has anyone heard of Ablet HiFi? I found this 2x3.5mm to XLR cable on Amazon UK for £35, they look good but that doesn’t necessarily mean squat. Couldn’t find them on Amazon US.
looks like another brand variation of the balanced NewFantasia cables.
Ah. I’m thinking about modding 3.5mm plugs to my Grado SR60e, don’t really want to spend twice as much on a Hart or Periapt just for that. I don’t use the Grados that much anyway so it’ll probably be fine.
Got them and send it back
Look and feel are nothing I’d want to use
The alternative was an “expensive” custom balanced braided etc cable by oidio sound UK
Is it just cheap plastic tubing like you get on crappy IEMs? Thing is, I already have a dual 3.5mm hart cable for my 4xx but I don’t trust my arts & crafts skills to be yanking them out over and over.
It’s ok and usable
me neither… will get another one(hartaudiocables)for the Ananda and keep my oidio on the Elegia
I got one to try out since it was cheap. They are more firm than iem cables. It has that plastic coating that iems have near the connector, but all the way down the cable.
Exactly - 10 charcters
Consider cutting some foam to size and stuffing it in side the backside between the pads and the adapter ring to add more bass and bit more soundstage. You can also remove the felt lining on the inside of the grills which also opens them up a tad more. This is how I have my pair setup. Also yes it takes a little while to break in the pads but once they are the comfort is pretty good
This is what I’m trying to do right now to try and break them in quickly. No idea if it’ll work, but hell, something is better then nothing.
I bought the xduoo xd-05 plus but I hear buzzing from it when using my iems. Anybody else have this problem? Great amp though with headphones
What iems are you using, and what gain setting?
Just picked up a liquid platinum on Amazon, it was on sale and I’m weak willed…
Using the blons at the lowest gain setting
