Fantastic season, the show keep dragging you in more and more, making you more invested in it. There was some cinematography mastery as well in that final episode.

This is the best trailer for a TV show I’ve sen a long while. Anyone a fan?

I think I watched the first season (or most if it at least) and it was good, but didn’t really grab me. If you are into the whole espionage spy stuff it might be more interesting, but I don’t really care for that kind of thing.

There was definitely enough in the first episode to make me keep watching. HBO’s The Nevers… def worth putting it on your radar.

Agreed. Just watched it today and was impressed. Hopefully they keep developing the characters rather than relying too heavily on the character powers to carry the story.

Watched the original Blade Runner today while home sick. I was really impressed by how the scale and type of the different environments came through on my DT880’s (running on my Asgard3). Very well recorded and mastered!

Watched the 2001 adaptation of Hellsing. The Anime. Pretty good. The soundtrack was good, but not the best.

I forgot how good this movie and score is,

Day two of home sick. Today is Lord of the Rings. I continue to be impressed with the DT880 600ohm for movie watching: very immersive, detailed, precise. Almost scary how much I hear things all around me. Every rain drop, foot step, bird chirp. It’s a great experience!

I’m amazed how well these movies hold up over time! The Fellowship of the Ring is 20 years old this year, and still feels fresh.

Alien : Covenant
Prometheus
Independence Day : Resurgence

Homies found out one day I havent watched any of these fully as I fell asleep any time I tried they basically immidiately ordered pizza and set up a movie night where we marathonned the directors cut. the movies really do hold up over time. some scenes I can see not aging well but is pretty good. I can see the appeal but I dont seem to have the nostalgia goggles everyone seems to have nor did I get taken away by the magic of the world. but that was a good 11 hours of my life spent surprised I didnt fall asleep at all.

I’ve been watching The Expanse recently and I love it. It’s the first show since Breaking Bad that has actually keeper me this invested this long. I just started season 3 and it’s still just as good as the previous seasons.

I also love how it is a majority sci and only a little fi. The science is actually pretty good in most situations. They even got Adam Savage (of myth busters fame) to do a small cameo st the end of season 2.

Edit to fix the show’s title.

Lol. That’s probably what the studio calls it!

I’ve read most of the books but haven’t gotten around to the series yet. Perhaps this summer…
