I wonder that as well. I know it’s not the same power level, but the availability of the Topping Dx7 Pro has me taking this item off the wish list.
I love all this competition - Someone will eventually drop prices.
I’m looking forward to reading about the M1570…if any of the circumspect that it’s something like the LCD-4 at 10% the price turns out to be anything resembling the truth.

and poop, the Spark DAC release date has been pushed back to the middle of December. 
I thought you were referring to the M1570. Made me look.

Can that weight be right? 700g?! My daily headphone is 513g and that’s about all I can take. These things better have miniature versions of the actual artists playing live in the cups for me to take that weight.

Well that’s similar to the lcd4 so I would assume it’s correct. Will be pretty heavy

M570 was in reality 100gr more
so maybe the M1570 is even worse 
someone will have to make a shoulder harness to spread the weight out so it doesn’t fatigue our weak neck vertebrae. LoL!
Perfect for allowing you to comfortably listen to your lcd 4 or m1570

Depending on how stock lasts of the 887, Drop may have to consider going back down to $350 or lower for the 789. 
If you need a nice dac to run the 887 the SMSL VMV D1 DAC is a good price right now
I just put in my order for a THX AAA 887 this afternoon. I’ve been wanting to get the 789 for a while now but I hate how Drop takes your money and tells you ‘’ Thank you, we’ll get your purchase to you when we get around to it’’. I had an order in once and cancelled after the delivery date was pushed back twice.
