What Is happening?! M1570, M1070, M570 from Monoprice THX AAA 887 Too!

I think so, but I havent personally heard an elex which is at a similar price point.

That’s insane that they’re heavier than a burrito

Its interesting how much heavier the m570 is vs it’s claimed weight

I weighed mine and got 666 grams, so its looking pretty consistent there.

Pretty evil headphone then…

For best burrito performance I don’t let my burrito burn in at all and enjoy it right away. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I’m curious for some ‘unfair’ impressions. :stuck_out_tongue:

Not sure who else is getting these, but if anyone happens to have a spare minixlr balanced cable, please give it a go with these. My 3rd minixlr to 1/4inch cable still triggered Overcurrent protection on my thx 788.

Edit: and i still dont have a balanced cable on hand. USPS lost mine that was supposed to come in friday

FedEx doin me a dissapoint. Still haven’t seen them and it’s 6:40. Excitement is dwindling away as I feel the urge to take a post work nap.

What’s new ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Mine are getting here Friday, was too cheap to pay for next day. I do also own lcd-3 so it will be interesting to see how they compare to my m1570.

Nice, I guess you can see directly if monoprice correctly reverse engineered an audeze driver this time lol

Kinda was hoping it would be described as dark.

Sounds pretty linear to me, not bright, but not dark.

ehh, I guess linear if you follow the harman curve.

harman tuned planar would be interesting

I would say the lcd1 is harman ish sound wise

Less dark than the phantoms? On the fence if I should get a Loki or ditch the phantoms for monoprice. I’ve kind of screwed myself planar wise in terms of options…

Ya know, there is a fairly well known planar headphone company you could consider

You are right… My bad. I forgot about Oppo

Just A/b’d the two real quick. M1570 is definitely less dark.
