Single DD guy here with a decent collection but I need variety. Couldn’t eat the same food day in/day out for the rest of my life either. YMMV.

Yeah that is true, hence why I have stopped using 1DD IEMs, then eventually tried some Planar IEMs. After the Planar wars, I eventually got tired of Planars and now I am currently trying Tribrid or Quadbrid IEMs. This is the hobby we are in and it’s really hard to be satisfied on a single thing when there are many things out there that would eventually overshadow the things that you have grown to love listening to.

With all the sonic variety of the single DDs in my collection (again all but the TS-316 with exchangeable nozzles (quick and dirty mods)) I’m enjoying them more than ever and don’t miss anything else but might pick up a nice hybrid or rather multi-BA one day if something comes along my way; just for comparison’s sake.
Deuce. But with Xinhs cable because the red cable is to flashy to use at work.

How’s the Xinhs cable working with the Deuce? Does it change anything in the sound, or is it more of an aesthetic upgrade?

The red cable is great but it is a bit too flashy for the office. So more of a look adjustment. Same great sound.

I genuinely have no idea why, but the OG Olina with a 500-grade mesh filter on the nozzle has my heart right now. I also throw a little PEQ whilst using the BTR17 with them, but out of the iBasso DC07, the synergy is off the charts. No PEQ needed.

Yeap i suppose in an office setting that red cable can be quite eye catching, tbh i kinda aslo dig this combination…a lil understated but also a little satisfying to look at
