TAG2 I actually find get about as difficult as TAG1 during the optional escalation encounters, but the rest of the fights, both in and out of arenas, are much less creative when compared to TAG1. I think it was more due to them rushing a bit to release it by the end of the first year. The accessibility was more in the optional escalation encounters I think.
Sigil was fun in it’s dickish-ness. It’s that kind of sadistic that only works with good balance and a consenting player, and thankfully, Sigil often has that balance.
Noita - If you haven’t played this game its some of the most fun you can have this game is nutty and cheap
Devil daggers… also known as anxiety simulator: Really fun and cheap as well with a global leaderboard I don’t know how many hours I’ve spent trying to get over 500 seconds its great. Thinking about it now this game is a benchmark for directional audio. Constantly you’re having to be specially aware on a small pad. I think @falenkor if he hasn’t already would have a field day with this
Factorio. Pretty much the only game I have time for because I can play as much or as little as I want or can handle. Too many nights have become mornings because I just wanted to fix something. Just like watching the sunrise in Stormwind (WoW:WoTLK+). Cannot handle many more of those nights/days. lol!
I decided to go back to memory lane and play Resident Evil 4, but this time on the PC version. In my opinion, the game still holds up to this day and is definitely one of the best games of the RE series after the days of tank controls from the original 1,2 and 3. Sure it’s more action-oriented but there are still some horror elements and uneasiness that you get from it (Fuck Regenerators, to this day they still makes my skin crawl when I am seeing them in game, especially that time when I was overly new to it, and I didn’t know they leap and crawl on you after shooting their legs off like holy shit!).
If it’s true that Capcom is planning to remake RE4, let’s hope it will be a marginal improvement over the original even though it will be unlikely, although they could refine Luis and Ashley, especially Ashley because OMFG I HATEHATE escorting that useless bitch, like fuck me!
I dusted off the PS3 and started re-playing MGS 3. Last time I played this was at least 10 years ago.
A few hours in and I really have to say Kojima created a masterpiece with this one. It’s also really impressive what the team could do with the PS2.
Some people may not like the long conversations and cutscenes. It also has a lot of anime style silliness going on… But it all comes together for an awesome package that I highly recommend even today.
Back when Konami used to be cool and you can proudly say “I love Konami.” It sounds crazy nowadays that they are a company of shittiness, and if you say that Konami sucks during those times where they are at peak, people will find you crazy or just a plain hater.
MGS to me died after Phantom Pain, the game was clearly rushed on some parts, especially the missing story parts.
Valheim is a good pick right there, my best friends played it for a while but I have not been able to get into it. Maybe when there is time I will give it an another chance.
Also I played RE3 Remake to give it a chance since most reviewers overall are not feeling the game, especially who are RE fans. I must say the game is fun but disappointing for me, since I have played the original RE3, and hell it is supposed to be the most open in the series with some choices added-in, yet the remake was linear as hell, too fast paced and what’s worse is that Nemesis in the remake is more of an annoyance than something that you dread from and fear.
I mean I knew it from the getgo, after the release of RE2 Remake then suddenly making RE3 Remake after 2’s success? It was fishy in the beginning, therefore it should have been DLC than a separate game. Or they could have just took their time and made it with the heart and soul of the original game.
I’m waiting for Deemo 2, Deemo is one of the first rhythm video games I ever played and it was 8 years ago when it launched on mobile, back when I was 19. Beautiful game and story, and it is one of the major reasons why I love story driven games and modern orchestral music.
I don’t know man, but to me the Remakes does not damage the nostalgia that I have for the original. It’s more like a game that pays tribute to the original but only RE2 Remake did it right, though there are some things RE3 Remake did it right as well but yeah it was clearly rushed.
