I was actually talking about the Serial since you had bad luck with the pairs you have tried but the Canon would be great too! If you do get a pair of Canons to measure I would greatly appreciate doing all the tuning combinations. I havenāt seen anyone measure all 8 on squig.

Nymz I suggest listening but if they are flawed by the imbalance then I would pass. Penon done the right thing when they were made aware of the situation, I know it is tough when you have to buy gear to get it to review.

I will pass. I did indeed āattempā to fix the imbalance of the set by using volume balance of my dap. Still not ideal as the imbalance is very noticeable on vocals.
Dispite that, timbre is fine but incoherence isnt. You can clearly hear when bass ends and mids start (I think it was on some Adele song and Agnes Obel that I noticed it the most). Stage felt average with lack of depth and height. Again, this can be related to the whole imbalance thing or just people dont care about it, as everyone listens differently.
What disapointed me the most was the average bass impact, which I was expecting more giving the driver config.
The acessories are top notch.
Again, this wont be fully ranked as I cant trust this two sets, despite they sounding the same. We need more L/R measurements on the internet.

So yanyinn cannon is better than Tea mk2 and Olina?
I didnāt know that he had a longer review in the works. He did a short review that was with some other IEMs. I think there 4 sets, and I recall him liking the Canon a lot, talking about tribalism and how it seemed to hurt Yanyin, since they didnāt get much hype being on Penon ( they are on Linsoul now, so that might change ), and not being nuts about the bass guitar sound on the URD, plus there was a very blingy set.
The Yanyin Canon seems very interesting, and might be my next step. I know folks have liked the Aladdin and Moonlight. To me the idea that you can change it when you want something different, it seems like switchable tuning adds value, and the price isnāt bad for a quality hybrid.

He did mention including Canon in a Hybrid Wars video. Is that still in the works @hawaiibadboy? And are you doing a separate video for the Yanyin lineup?

I see three videos with āPlanar Warsā on the thumbnail, but not a Hybrid Wars. He did a $50-$300 Tier List, and he mentioned the Canon in that video, and he it put it in the S Tier. That was really when the Canon got on my radar, and I almost bought a pair in May ( I went with Tea instead ).
About the only other IEM, that I have heard HBB rave about this year, in this price range, is the Penon Serial. Most of the stuff from Penon gets no exposure or hype either.

I have the TRI TK2 and Xduoo Link2 Balanced. I donāt found how many OI ( output impedance ) they have in ohm.
Are You recommend this two dacs for the Yanyin Canon ?
OI is 10 ohms SE and 20 ohms balanced.
