Enjoy it. :+1:t2:

I got my FH3 from BrightAudio Store, too. When it broke, I asked them for partial refund, thinking they wouldn’t agree to a return and full refund/replacement, but to my surprise they actually counter-offered my proposal with just that. So I sent the FH3 in and I’m expecting it to reach them this week. But I’ll be asking for a refund. With the way FiiO disclaimed any responsibility for their product’s defects, I don’t want anything to do with their stuff anymore.

You got a full refund from the BrightAudio Store, but did you get in contact with FiiO also?
(I am not sure what it is you are saying…)

he did contact Fiio before. They didnt offer him any support at all since he didnt buy it from them (or was it because bright audio store isnt an official dealer?)…

Seeing as to that many people are talking about problems with the FH3 over at head-fi and Fiio hasnt responed at all. They seem to not care about their customers.

What I was saying is that I got better service from BrightAudio Store, which, as Rikudou_Goku has said, isn’t even FiiO’s official distributor, than from FiiO itself. Because when I got in touch with FiiO, after my FH3 broke after just ONE day, all I got from them was an apology and a week later an offer to buy from them the replacement piece for 20 USD + 20 USD postage.

After my FH3 broke, I first got in touch with FiiO, hoping they’d take responsibility for their product failing after just one day of use. When they basically told me I’m SOL, I got in touch with the AE vendor that sold the FH3 to me. I haven’t received a refund from BrightAudio, yet, btw.

The way Fiio treats their customer is so bad LOL. Guess i would give up on FH3 =)) Now time to find a new IEM to buy

I hate that… FiiO just got on my list of products, I will never buy again. For me the service and support, if a product brakes, is so essential, that if that is not present, my $ are not going in that direction.

FiiO = Banned :imp: :imp: :imp:

Yes, no more FiiO products for me either. No matter how good they are.

wow what a 180 with people and the fh3! it’s such a good iem, and to my knowledge the QC isn’t bad to my knowledge.

Same here. Guess I’m one of the lucky ones. Hope they don’t break.

this is how hype trains usually go, they lose steam.

Don’t think it’s qc that’s the main issue here it’s their customer and after care and service?

Yes, what i wanna talk about is there service, not the QC issue, problem always exist, but they should help their customers better with those problems

Bad QC is not good and should get dealt with, but it is not necessarily a deliberate choice as bad service or lack of interest in customers.
If a company doesn’t take responsibility for its products and if they brake within waranty, due to which outlet channel you bought it or that you can get a replacement if YOU pay a service fee and the postage, then I’m out.

If we as customers have to pay extra for a product a company didn’t QC the right way or a malfunction in production, then I really don’t understand if they care at all about their business. THAT is the way to lose customers, because it is pissing on us and taking our money for no good reason.

Stay away from that kind of companies is my advice.
I have not had any experience like that with FiiO, but I trust it when other mention it in this forum.

@hawaiibadboy could you perhaps make a video and call out Fiio for not responding to this FH3 situation in a good way?

Not giving any service to people that bought the FH3 from a non-official dealer shouldnt be an excuse to not help even when it breaks down so fast.

It’s hard to say what percentage of units are defective. And while I’m not denying that the FH3 is an outstanding-sounding IEM, there have been enough reports of failing drivers for consider either the FH3’s design or the dynamic drivers they used in it dodgy. I wish it hadn’t happened to me because I was enjoying it immensely, but after the experience I’ve had with FiiO disclaiming any responsibility for their defective product just because I bought it from vendor A and not vendor B, I am highly disappointed with the brand.

I hope that everyone who got the FH3 and enjoys it will continue to without any issues.

I feel bad for the people that cant purchase thru Amazon,(within 1 month) if something wrong or heck if I don’t like the item anymore we can just click return, let the barcode scanned by UPS(they will pack it for you too) then viola refund

Back on track, is the FD1’s bass similar to the FH3’s bass?

I really dig the FH3’s bass but I can’t enjoy the FH3 at louder volumes without getting ear fatigue after ~15 minutes. It never happened to me before especially when I’m listening to 1DDs, so I’m guessing it’s something up with the BAs. If the FD1’s bass has the same impact and extension I may give it a try.
