Lets talk about your tips! ;)

I’m struggling a bit with the fit on the Oxygen. I don’t have any problems with seal but they don’t feel very secure.
I’ve tried many tips but the best I’ve tried so far are CP100+ size large (I usually use medium) and stock tip in large.
Would going to a Spinfit CP360 for TWS with it’s shorter stem be helpful?
I’m limited in options because I don’t want wide bore tips because they change the sound too much, in a bad way.

I use Final Type E on them.

I’ve tried various sizes of Final E tips but it’s not better :frowning:

That’s the nature of Spinfits. Long and soft stems => Not much security.

Something about CP360s feel even looser to me. I don’t know why. Maybe because I can’t go as deep with them.

Maybe something shorter with a stiff stem? Maybe Kbear 07s? Quite stiff stem, a bit shorter, and bore isn’t wide but still a bit bigger and doesn’t change much of sound. You can also try for Sony tips. Rather short stem.

i just got a iem and am thinking about tips.

some random bluetooth earphones of amazone came with foam tips wich i liked and after they broke i had to swich to the silicone ones and i feel like they sounded alot harsher and sharp sounds hurt.

do foam tips “soften” the highs in general or was that just something that happen with them?

Pretty sure I posted about this above. The oxygen feel like they “float” in my ears. It’s really comfortable. But they also aren’t actually insecure.

But, grippy tips help. Cp100+ azla crystal and xelastec all enhance the sense of security for me.

But I honestly don’t have actual problems with the security.

That’s a good point, i will try the acoustune ae07 but I’m worried they are not grippy enough

I agree. I like this kind of fit actually. I have BL-05s and Tape Pro that fit the same, but less floaty.

They are good but because they are soft they are floating more than others. I guess what I’m looking for is grippy like CP100+ but stiff like Final E.

I think those Acoustune tips are Kbear 07s, or whatever source they are. They aren’t very grippy, but not smooth either. Something like Kbear 08s, or the AET08 are rather grippy, but not the sticky-grippy like Spinfits, but more rough-grippy. I use them on my TWS because of that.

Foams can change sound a lot, but it’s different with many folks due to foam sealing differently in different ears. I can never get them to work because they simply kill bass and thus just push up the highs and mids to become too sharp. Maybe your ears are good with foams. Dekoni has a good variety of them.

Can you try to reverse some of your tips? Many tips have a matte finish, but if you reverse them their stickier side is exposed. E.g. Reversed KZ Starlines are stickier (and makes them longer for deeper insertion).

Ha you read my mind! I tried the reversed Starline but the stem is not rigid enough.

I’m actually trying to reverse a pair of unbranded silicone tips that i bought a while back. Let’s see…

I just wish there was a multiple size package… 🤦

So I have reversed some generic Medium tips that I got a while back from the Earphones Plus store on Amazon.com/us.

They were a bit more difficult to reverse that the Starline from KZ.

They are the best tips so far for the Oxygen. Super happy right now!!

It seems that they will size small and one might have to buy a size larger…

Great video explaining tip rolling

i just got the spinfip cp500 in L because i prettymuch always use the big tips that come with headphones. but with these i cant get a good fit. just before it is about to seal it feels like the tip gets a creas i gues kinda like in the picture. maybe the M ones would have been better
