Its the LCDX creators bundle that doesnât come with the pelican case. Its only really worth $1200 retail so the Aeolus is the only fair trade.

Audeze sells the pelican case ala cart for $130 that retails for $1700. Donât ask me why it costs $400 more for the regular bundle but there you go. Also, sound wise (based on what I have heard) it seems like the bicellulose driver will be a closer complement to the LCD Xâs (as much as a planar and dynamic given the differences can be equated).

lol, iâll be ordering a pair of Autuer LTDâs tomorrow from some of the money I made from stocks so if I can trade the LCDâs for an Aeolus iâll consider it a bonus.

I prefer the Aeolus on SS (in my case a Whammy), but the tuba is a really nice option.
To me the Aeolus is so smooth sounding it needs the little extra âcrunchâ the SS amp provides.

How do they compare against your Fidelio X2âs? I know they are different price classes, just interested in how big of an upgrade they are.
