Just unboxed #1961. Eris is without question the hardest-hitting headphone Iāve ever encountered. Like, 2nd place isnāt even close. Not gonna win any awards for vocal sweetness, or neutrality⦠but you buy these to listen to The Prodigy, not Norah Jones.

Pulled the trigger on those a couple of weeks ago and Iām honestly blown away, considering The Headphone Show review I was expecting a party trick headphone that Iāll use for movies and maybe some video games but honestly Iām kinda blown away.
Been in audio for 20 years now, mostly around high-end speakers after working sales at a upper-end retailer, one thing many people in the headphone community seem to ignore/neglect is the physicality of certain music, yes my Sennis and Hifimans are clearer, cleaner and more tonally accurate, but thatās telling half of the story, if you think youāre getting an accurate representation of a double bass or a kick drum, you should skip your next upgrade and go buy some concert tickets instead.

These do something magical, it kinda feels like going from a great pair of bookshelf speakers to full range floor standing pair, yes if you stay within the same price range, chances are the bookshelves will be cleaner and clearer and probably measure better from the midbass onwards but you are missing so much of the story⦠these on the other hand are the 1st pair of headphones I FEEL, they will rattle your head on those tracks and will kick your ass in movies and games
Does that mean the Eris is better than the Sennis and Hifimans of the world? Nope! but that doesnāt change the fact the Eris can give you a better and even more accurate representation of the sound in some perspectives and honestly are just so freaking fun. Anyone who can should give these a listen

So only recently discovered your content, getting back into my hifi stuff, and came across this video. For years i have been trying to find a headphone that has the right balance of what I need for my tastes and the right amount of bass production. I used to have and use the Audio Technica M50x and whilst they are a great headset the bass can sometimes be mussy, muddy and wash out bits of the song or make you miss little details.
I took a punt on you and this headset, and ill tell you what, finding these and listening to them was like finding a pot of gold. They are amazing for EDM, Dance etc, great for other music if you tweak some setting via an eq, even if you leave it flat, they sound great. The detail and clarity i was getting through the bass was fucking incredible. Thank you for making these
